Your Bucket List

Do you have a bucket list? If not, do you already do things on a regular basis that encourage growth, happiness and challenge? It doesn’t really matter if you keep a list in your head or maybe you have an app for that, however you do it, I think it’s important to live outside your comfort zone regularly. What’s the quote? Life begins at the end of your comfort zone.

This summer was a big reminder for me. I lost a very close family member to cancer in like 0.4 seconds this summer. An exaggeration, but, that is what it seemed like to me. One minute I was getting a call that she was sick and the next thing I knew we were saying goodbye to her. She was only a few years older than me.

Most of us are waiting for the time to be right to do things we love, try things we have always wanted to try or challenge ourselves in ways we have never been challenged. Even when it comes down to something as simple as getting into shape or eating better, we wait for the circumstances to be better and I assure you, they won’t. You won’t find time for things. You have to make time.

If something is standing in the way of of your bucket list items, move it.

I am organizing a training group for a very fun 5k that will be on October 26th. Our training will be about 10 weeks and the focus is going to be FUN. The cost is only $20 for the training and you will be responsible for your entry into the race. Our first meeting will be the week of August 19th. I am going to help you along the way.
